Peak Oil
Peak Oil is in my opinion such an important topic, that I decided to have a separate blog where I intend to post links to information about Peak Oil.Personally I believe that we passed Peak already past year, in 2006. North Sea oil production has been in decline already for some years. Recently PEMEX confirmed that their biggest oil field, Cantarel is now in decline as well. The production pattern of Saudia Arabia, meaning that they are producing more of the low quality crude, are not able to increase production and are spending billions searching new reserves, gives in my opinion clear indications that the total Saudi Arabia oil production is already past Peak.Are we prepared? I believe not. The world in general is still asleep and not aware of the implications of lower oil production. It is high time we start with preparations (if not too late already).I hope that the information I will post from time to time will help to understand the topic and to take some preparations if possible
